Disciplines: Air Rifle, Air Pistol, Sport Crossbow
Fee: £12.50 per entrant
Deadline: Teams must register by 11 January and confirm by 16 January.
Age Groups & Classes (based on age on 11 April 2026):
Juniors (under 13): J1 (Rifle bench rested), J2 (Pistol two-hand), J3 (Optional rifle standing)
Seniors (13–17): S1 (Rifle standing), S2 (Pistol one-hand), SX (Sport Crossbow)
Adults (18+): Rifle, pistol, and crossbow categories
Competition Format
Half-day sessions with training available in pistol and crossbow.
Shooters must have prior air rifle experience.
Standard targets will be used, 20 shots per match (may be reduced to 15 if needed).
Equipment may be supplied or competitors may bring approved .177 rifles/pistols or Petron/Jaguar crossbows.
Rules & Restrictions
Iron sights only, no specialised clothing.
Safety is paramount: unsafe behaviour or range damage leads to disqualification.
Footwear with ankle support not allowed.
Only flat-headed “wadcutter” pellets for air rifles/pistols.
Crossbows must use 8mm bolts and 40lbf draw weight.
Scoring & Awards
Juniors: aggregate = bench-rested rifle + pistol scores
Seniors & Adults: aggregate = standing rifle + pistol scores
Team Competition: Best 4 shooters (must include at least 1 Junior & 1 Senior).
Awards:
Individual medals for top 3 in each discipline + best aggregate (Junior, Senior, Adult)
“Most improved” medals (Junior & Senior, compared to 2025)
Team medals for top 3 teams
