Scouts and Explorer Scouts aged 14 and over from Shropshire are invited to join the County Winter Mountaineering Week from February 14 to 21, 2026, staying at Blackwater Hostel in Kinlochleven near Glencoe; the £300 cost covers transport, food, accommodation, and specialist winter mountaineering equipment, with participants expected to have mountain walking experience and suitable winter clothing, and booking requires a £100 non-refundable deposit with limited places available.
