Outline:
The Club Instructor (Airgun) course is a techniques course in air rifle shooting in the standing position and in deliberate air pistol shooting. The course is especially recommended to current NSRA YPS Tutors in Air Rifle or Pistol who wish to instruct in the alternate air discipline or to develop their skills as air rifle & pistol instructors. The course fee includes an NSRA course handbook and certification (valid for 5 years).
Essential Precursors:
To qualify as a Club Instructor on completion of this course you must: (A) hold one of the following range management qualifications: NSRA YPS Tutor’s Diploma in an airgun discipline or NSRA RCO, and (B) you must either be a Life or Annual member of the NSRA or hold a current adult appointment in The Scout Association or the Cadet Forces.
Other NSRA members or holders of Scout or Cadet Forces adult appointments with substantial experience in the safe handling of firearms may also undertake the course and on completion will be awarded an Airgun Techniques certificate which can be upgraded to a Club Instructor licence on obtaining one of the qualifications listed above.
