Scotland Winter Mountaineering 2026

The County Scotland Winter Mountaineering Trip will take place in the West Highlands during the week 14 to 21st February 2026. This is an amazing opportunity to experience the great outdoors in the Highlands close to Glencoe and Fort William.

This is open to all Scouts, Explorers and Network members age 14 (at the time of the event) and over. It will be a week of full winter mountaineering and a good level of fitness will be required. It would also be beneficial for young people to have previously attended County, District or Local Hill Walking trips.

Full details have been sent out to all Group Leaders in the County to be passed on to Leaders and qualifying young persons. Places are limited and need to be secured as soon as possible with a £100 deposit. Please see your Scout, Explorer or Group Leader.
